Homeowners

DEFINITION

Homeowners are generally faced with similar issues, including quality of workmanship when the house was constructed or repaired. Before a dispute arises with a contractor, it is generally a good idea to have a written contract which spells out in detail the work and quality expected. If possible, the homeowner should write out their expectations and have the contractor sign this statement before work begins. Most often, an attourney is not needed until a problem arises, and most often the written contracts between the parties are not clear.
