Actions can also be filed to modify an existing court order if a material change in circumstances can be shown.

If you are contemplating litigation involving a divorce, a list of all marital assets should be compiled as well as a budget for your anticipated expenses when the divorce is granted. If children are involved, a budget of their expenses should be itemized as well. Have a general idea of how you would like the marital assets to be divided as well as each parent’s time with the children.
