Randy practices in the area of litigation. His home is in the courtroom, presenting arguments to jurors who will decide the outcome with their verdict.

Mr. Rich has handled most varieties of civil litigation including contract disputes, insurance issues, landlord and tenant disputes, as well as builder and homeowner disputes.

Some lawyers practice law, but are not willing to go to court to argue the client’s case. Mr. Rich’s philosophy is that if the other side knows he is willing to go to court if necessary, a more favorable resolution is often possible without court action. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Rich spends a considerable portion of his time teaching courtroom techniques to new lawyers. He serves as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University College of Law, teaching courses in trial skills and Advanced Evidence. Mr. Rich has served as a faculty member at the Georgia Basic Trial Skills CLE held at the University of Georgia, and the NITA Kessler-Eidson Trial Techniques course at Emory University School of Law.

In the courtroom, Mr. Rich has earned a reputation as a skilled advocate for his clients. Several of his clients are former jurors and court personnel who have witnessed Mr. Rich’s trial skills first hand, in the courtroom. Mr. Rich has also been called on by colleagues in the bar when they require legal representation. Mr. Rich is a life long resident of Gwinnett County and is familiar with the verdicts a client may typically receive with Gwinnett County jurors.
