Randy is sworn into office at the Capitol by Governor Sonny Perdue.

Randy was among a dozen elected officials who were on hand for the first presentation of "Hands are Not for Hitting" at Holt Elementary School. The program is designed to prevent Domestic Violence and is also sponsored by the Gwinnett County Solicitor's Office.

Randy spoke for an hour to a class of high school juniors and seniors about the dangers of alcohol and drinking and driving.
